I didn't want to hijack the Ron Paul/Fox news thread but the question must be answered:
Who is more irritating --
Shepard Smith or
Anderson Cooper ?
My vote, a greater of two banalities, is the Coopster. The hard hitting journalism you would expect from Gloria Vanderbilt's son, combined with the sense that he takes himself seriously as a journalist. He could learn a lesson or two from Geraldo in that regard.
Shep... tries to have a hominess while sharing the inside insight with his flock (nod, shrug, sigh) but at least I believe he knows he's playing a role.
