I can make out the images, but not by how the directions tell me to.  I look at the image cross-eyes for a few seconds and relax my crossing a little bit and the images will start to show the silhouettte.

The Pyramid, with the Castle and Candle in the window shows the Star, which is Saturn, is a bit off center.

Other than that what is the problem?

Russian, you might be a tad too close to the screen. The initial try screwed up my peepers for a moment but moving back a bit solved it. With my head two feet from the screen, they popped right out. Try throwing your eyes out of focus or crossing them slightly; that usually works. You might want to try finding a stereogram with the "training dots" at the bottom of the image. Those are an immense help if you've never looked at one before.

I was initially frustrated I couldnt see them

The secret, for me, was to just stare blankly at the artwork for 2-4 minutes and your brain slowly pieces it all together to the point, you only SEE the 3D image

Fun exercise!

It's not that I couldn't see them; I just thought it would've been a more difficult challenge that can't be shrugged off so easily. First time I tried to see a picture with magiceye many years ago, I couldn't. It took me some training...

These were all the rage in the early nineties. I never could see them then. Only recently I found a book of them my wife had and saw a few. But can't see anything in these images.

remember its also important to have your eyes horizontal, if you twist your head even a little, you cant see it.

Apart from that I've never had a problem with these kinda things, I do love em though :-)

especially liked the ones with little dolphins and the one with the little lions lineing the top, and the galloping horse was nice too.

I see 'em all. I usually just cross my eyes as firmly as I can and then slowly back off. Eventually the image will form.

Do the eye teaming exercises...after that, it's a breeze to look at the pictures and make your eyes focus properly.

When I first looked at them, to see the images, I had to look at a photo on my wall behind my monitor, then try to keep focus on that and look back at the screen.
