Nice Impala Joe.   I'm not a big fan of the 64, I prefer 63, but still it looks like it'll be a nice ride when you're finished...

I always forget to check the mileage, but I burn through roughly 20 bricks an hour.

I've was an aircraft/auto mechanic for 24 years; a bonified gear head.  If it has wings or wheels I've wrenched on it at one time or another.  Here is my current fleet that I maintain here at the house......

1991 Jeep Wrangler, 6 inches of lift on 33's

2001 Tacoma 4X4, 5 inches of lift on 33's

2005 F-150 4X4, "My Office"

2000 Honda Magna 750cc

1992 Yamaha Voyager 1200

2008 Altima Coupe "Wifes Car" I hear it drives real well.

I drive trucks only. My last car was a 1975 Vega Estate (stationwagon) I turned it into a monster vega.

I cut down a 75 GMC Jimmy frame, built mounts, fuel tank, and bumpers. I also took the stock 350 from the jimmy to approximately 375hp. Tranny was a 350 with valvebody work and heavy duty flywheel, 373 gears front and rear driving 38.5 monster mudders on 12 x 15 rims. Total package weighed in at approximately 6000 lbs.

I'll post pics later when I get home.
