Return of HE 111
« on: February 07, 2008, 01:12:25 PM »
I know Im not imagining it we had the HE 111 when I first started playing, back when Battle of Britton went to a pay to play,, No realy we did and I like to have it back, thay are way cooler then the ju88s I know I dont fly alot but even from a GV stand point Id rather be bombed by a good looking and sleek aircraft rather then something that looks like it was made of spair parts. ;)
Id like to see it back in. it was a sweet craft, and was fun to fly. Setting its heads up and vuews was fun to with all that cannapy space. Any way it was in once and Id think it would be easser to reinstat one then make one from scrach. O BTW WTG on bringing us the Air Cobra. TY for that. I cant wate to try it. you tecks need more pats on the back from us I think. so :aok  :)  TY

I know I'm not imagining that we had the HE 111 when I first started playing. This was back when Battle of Britain went to, "pay to play." No, we really did have it, and I would like to have it back. They are way cooler then the ju88s. I know I don't fly a lot but even from a GV stand point I'd rather be bombed by a good looking and sleek aircraft rather then something that looks like it was made of spare parts.;)

I'd like to see it back again, it was a sweet craft, and was fun to fly. Setting it's heads up and views was fun too with all that canopy space. Any way, it was in once and I think it would be easier to reinstate it then make one from scratch. Oh, by the way, way to go on bringing us the Air Cobra. Thanks for that, I cant wait to try it. You geeks need more pats on the back from us in my opinion.:aok:) Thanks a lot!

I'm guessing the HE-111 is on the drawing board or will be eventually.

No idea, never heard of an HE-111 ever being in-game, even for a few hours.

If "impact on actual History" is one of the requirements for modeling new aircraft in AH then certainly its only a matter of time until the HE-111 is with us. Its an airplane that had a huge presence in the war and most certainly deserves to be in the game.

I'd like to see the cargo model introduced that can deliver more cargo/troops then a goon. They can even lightly perk it so it doesnt unbalance, giving us another new avenue to use our bomber perks.

Even the earliest models could carry cargo canisters on the external bomb racks. However, it was a fairly small airframe, and I doubt it would carry any more troops than a C-47. I think it would carry less, but I don't have any references about the transport version.

I wonder if derkojote23 realizes he's at the wrong game forum.  Honestly, he's got to be pretty daft to confuse IEN's garbage with AH, but he did post in the wrong company's forum so we can say for certain he's not very bright.

im not sure but i think the HE111 did carry troops...but not much in war time..they just said it was a transport plane so they could bypass the Treaty of Verssias(misspelled i think)....

it would also be an awkward carrier plane because of its great speed for a bomber
