One positive note about Obamba
« on: February 07, 2008, 08:48:21 PM »
Saw an extended interview with her the other night and
I like his wife.

Seems very intellegent, Level headed and down to earth. And generally "good people"
ANY man could do alot worse
I have to admit. she really impressed me.

Currently I like her more then ANY of the front runnners from either party.

Couple of my friends met her when they were campaigning in SC. They said they would vote for her if she were running.

The difference in Barack/Michelle and Hillary/Bill... you can tell that Barack and Michelle love each other. Bill and Hillary are more like business partners than anything.

...Which is why I personally believe that any administration run by Hillary Clinton would be the exact same as it was under Bill.

Maybe without the Hanky-Panky with the Intern, though. Or maybe we should start another thread on the subject...?

I know lots of really nice people that I would hate to have them have any control over my life and my liberty.

These "nice" people would not hesitate to have me imprisoned or killed if I resisted their idea of utopia.

still... pleasant to talk with so long as they have no power over you.

I wouldnt have you imprisoned or killed.

America is not ready for a Black or Female President.

Hell we already had Bill Clinton.

it has nothing to do with being Black or Female, it has to do with who they are and what they will do.

Colin Powell could have been president if he had wanted to.

Hell thinking like that you could say Shirley Chishom or Al Sharpton.  I'm saying if they don't have the expirience they why run under the color of skin or gender?

BTW I would have voted for Colin Powell because of the expirience... not a color of the mans skin.

you misunderstood, I'm not saying Powell could be elected because he is black, i am saying he could be elected because of who he is.
