Sharia law in Britain

OUCH!

Archbishop of Canterbury calls for Sharia law in Britain

Any Brits care to comment?

Sure wouldn't want this in th U.S.

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23436203-details/Adoption+of+Islamic+Sharia+law+in+Britain+is+'unavoidable'%2C+says+Archbishop+of+Canterbury/article.do

Can the Brits prevent it?

"The Archbishop of Canterbury caused consternation yesterday when he called for Islamic law to be recognised in Britain.

He declared that Sharia and Parliamentary law should be given equal legal status so the people could choose which governs their lives. "

The separation of church and state is a good thing.

The Brits are a proud and strong lot. I doubt if they roll over on this.

This is an indicator of things to come.  Not just for the UK either.

It saddens me to think it will be so, but I find agree with you.

Here's the thing. They new they didn't have Sharia law in Brittain when they went there. Why don't they go back to where they came from? Because it wasn't working is why.

This was proposed in Canada, the bastion of world liberalism according to many here, and it was soundly rejected.

It would all come to an end "When Pigs Fly!"

We load up every Bomber aircraft we have with live pigs within the Western Hemisphere of Civilization. Fly over every Major Islamic Country/City and drop the pigs from thousands of feet above.

A single 300 lb pig dropping from 25,000 ft falling at 32 ft per sec, oinking hysterically, would have a flesh-to-guts impact ratio of over 500+ meters not to mention the Physiological effect on these Allah luvin bastages ... and that is just a single pig.  Imagine thousands of pigs screaming Earthbound....

If Islamic Jihadist can't leave home to Martyr themselves then we've stopped the mobilization of terror.  Plus helped out the Pork Industry.  Stocks in Pork Bellies would ...heehee "soar".

Just a thought.

:D

If it ever comes to a full blown war of civilizations we will need to employ total war.  No mercy, those guys love to cut heads off of people who are quite aware as it happens.  I hope we wipe them out before they build an earth shattering arsenal of atomic weapons.

I like Rowan Williams - a very smart guy and the best archbishop we've had for ages. I really dont know where hes going with this though

then again this was a very academic speech to a bunch of lawyers, so I doubt any of those reporting on it actually understood what he was saying, even if they've heard the speech or read a transcript - which I also doubt.

Going to be a nit-picker here and say that church and state in the UK are unified in the person of Queen Elizabeth II.  She is both the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and the head of state for the United Kingdom.

Go figure.
