First of all, she was the one who scuppered the plan and was wondering if "I" was very disappointed.  I told her we could still do it and either pay full fare or go through the US.  She called it off.

Secondly, I will leave the day AFTER V-Day and anniversary.

Thirdly, she had a great time at the sale this morning and didn't go overboard at all...and she bought me a really nice pair of cufflinks.

So, no...she doesn't consider me a selfish bastard at all.
