A pair of C-hogs at 10k would have butchered that raid...

You guys were fortunate no one was waiting...

Wait an minute, that was a Bish raid, right? No enemy of consequence for several sectors, except for that one upper.

Why such a harsh post WideWing?  I don't see why you take it to heart and need to post as if it was a personal attack on you.

I posted this for fun and so people could get a few laughs about the whole idea of taking 262's NOE at low speeds, the complete opposite of what 99% of people flying them do.  I didn't post it to show my "l33t" base taking abilities or anything of that nature.

Couldn't you really say that about any NOE mission?  I could care less if that happened.  I don't play for score, if I did I wouldn't be flying a P-38 with my skill level as a pilot.  If someone did show up and ruin the party I would have a few laughs about it and be on my merry way.  I join up on the occasional base taking mission to have fun and because I enjoy the teamwork aspect of it, not because I want to win the war.

This is the part that I don't really understand and that I take the most offense to.  For one it was one of those bases in the middle of the map (sorry forget the map name) where each country gets one, they are each on their own little island of sorts and are about a few sectors or such apart from each other/and the mainland.  I would say they were pretty important bases, so it's not like we attacked some base out in the middle of nowhere.  I'm sorry that there were no enemies, I for one would have loved their to be, but that's not something I can or could have helped.  Of course I could have yelled on 200 our intentions, but that wouldn't be fair to my other teammates, and that's not something I would do, or I believe that you would do.

I haven't been playing for the Bish for very long.  My squad switched to that country one day last week or whatever, and I went along just because those are the guys that I have fun with, and that's all that matters.  I don't have a country affiliation or anything like that.

I don't like how it's implied that the Bish, and to some extent myself, are the only ones who would think of NOE'ing to undefended bases just to take that base and "win the war."  Perhaps in your experience that's what the Bish have done, but let's be realistic all countries do that.  But like I said I just recently switched because of the squad, so I don't know much about the Bish, and frankly I really don't care.

Like I said I don't really understand where you are coming from with this post, and I really hope that it's just a misunderstanding on my part and that you will come in here and clear it up for me, but right now (to me) it doesn't seem like it was one...

Easy there Donkey, no need to give me that look! It's not personal, just poking some fun. Sorry you took it that way.

I'm just ragging on the Bish.. They have demonstrated a remarkable talent for "hittin' 'em where they ain't" ever since I've been playing, and that's a very long time.

Please don't take offense. :aok

My regards,

Widewing

Alright good lol, I was hoping it was something like that, and no offense taken (hope you will accept my apology for the misunderstanding).  I can see how you would think of them like that, I once swore I would never join the Bish (just ask Talon when I had to change to them to wing up with him;) ), but like I said, I was just following the squad.

Good night sir, .
