Bish are getting stomped in Blue and ENY is in effect. OK, I'll switch arenas and see if there is a better fight. Arena cap has me locked out with a crazy set of numbers. :furious

Dale, you ain't gonna win a J.D. Power award.

You see, here is where stupidity on your part is in effect.  Bish were hording the crap outta blue, at that time.  There was no sustained fight anywhere, because all of you little bishbuttbuddies were falling all over each other to vulch every field they came to.  I logged off after 15 minutes, cuz it wasn't worth trying to defend, nor was it fun in any case.  I would be willing to bet that Orange was probably EXACTLY the same event....it seems around that time Bish usually get alot of numbers in both arenas, in my experience.

Solution:
Simply switch from "Bish" to another side of your choice, (there are Two others, FYI) and find some good fights.

Second solution...
Fly high eny rides with your bishbuttbuddies.

Third solution...
Go do something else.  It's a game...

That was not the scenario. This was from last night around 9pm. While Bish had the numbers, they were fighting a 2 front war while the Knights and Rooks were not attacking each other and the Rooks were running with the horde. So effectively we did not have the numbers. While Bish were trying to take 1 base we lost 4 to the Rooks. You can't defend against 10 to 1 odds.I am not going to jump countries. I've been a Bish since day one and I'm going to stay a Bish.

The dynamic cap formula needs to be tweaked or just plain done away with. Does ENY count all players or players in the air? You always see a bunch sitting in the tower lurking. Kind of unfair to be punished for pilots that are not playing.

One thing you did have correct is your third solution, go do something else. That made me question why I just paid $15 to be turned away.

If people are complaining about ENY and caps, they are working correctly.

They may be working as designed and you may agree with that but it does not mean the current design works best.  Personally, I would like to see the perk modifier extend further down the planeset instead of eny.

Anyone that gets upset about ENY and is UNWILLING to switch sides has no reason to complain about it. You have an easy option if you need your 5 ENY ride to fly.

As for the Cap issue, i agree it can be frustrating, but it hasn't effected me that bad yet, I have come to deal with it.

The Bish being horded by the other 2 countries thing has happened to all countries at times. No one country is always picked on. You stated you lost 4 bases while trying to get one. How about upping your own horde to combat the horde that is capturing your bases, instead of your horde going to an empty base while there horde goes to an empty base. Kill 2 birds with one stone this way. You get to keep your base and get a good fight which you stated you wanted.

I understand your frustations, we have all been there. The key is to try and keep a positive attitude or just go do something else if it's getting to you. Nights I get to frustrated about one thing or another, I just go do other things. Life unfortunately isn't perfect for everyone all the time.

Do you mean making planes available for a perk cost instead of being restricted by ENY?

Perk costs to the long term players mean nothing. ENY keeps the side with numbers from having the best planes. Perk costs for the side with numbers only keep the worst pilots from having the better planes, while allowing everyone else to fly them. It would do nothing to level the playing field.

Sounds like you are making the case that the perk system itself is broken.

To offset your problem you could simply give anyone with less than X amount of perks in each category Y  perks per tour.  For example, if you have less than 500 perks in fighters you get 500 added to your fighter perks each tour.  Combine this with moving the perk curve down will make it a working economy instead of the relatively ineffective system as you described.

You are also overlooking increasing the perk rewards for lesser planes to offset the relative cost increase of the better birds.

The ENY really was'nt the problem. It was the lack of choice in arenas. All I wanted was to fly in a fair fight.
