I always thought it looked like a giant chocolate chip cookie, just cut in pieces.

I both loved and loathed the old pizza map. I loved the canyons and the center, I hated the outer rings cause you needed a CV to fly outthere otherwise it took to long to reach anything..

i think you are talking about mindnao. if you are i miss that map, and want it back in rotation. was first map i flew on and i miss it!

I remember watching my brother play AH1 on this map, and remarking about how fun it was. When I finally subcribed to my ISP, it was about the same time AH2 came about. I may have played on this map with Flayd and a few others via LAN, I'm not sure.

Well as far as the texture go's HT seems to be making all maps with grass and tree's now so if we ever did get it back I'll bet it's converted...

As far as donut map is concerned I believe HT said it would not come back due to the problems/whines it caused when ever the center fields were bombed or taken..

That's such a shame. Donut was designed specifically to cater to all tastes. It had great GV opportunities, a special furballing area and carefully spaced spawns so that the time taken to drive an M3 was the same time it took to fly a goon.
I'd love to see donut back, it's a pity some folk couldn't just play it the way it was designed.

Maybe not even in the rotation, but just on Titanic Tuesday. It would be nice to see the old large maps back for a day once a week. Bring back the old times once a week just like the one arena on Tuesdays.
