My GS-D3's are the best tires I've ever had...... never driven them in the snow though. They stayed together over 200 though and they really handle wonderfully... love 'em.
I loved them on dry or wet pavement. Great tires there. Dangerous in the snow. Do NOT try it. Seriously. I almost singlehandedly shut down the A14 between Cambridge and RAF Lakenheath learning this, when I hit a patch of ice while going just under 1 mph (yea ONE mile per hour) and the car started turning sideways and blocked both lanes.
I had the wheel turned full left, and the rear end kept rotating farther left too. I looked like one of those dirt track racers going around a corner, except it was at 1 mph and in a straight line. I couldn't stop or I'd never get going again, but the farther I went the more sideways I got. I finally found a tiny patch of gravel which gave me enough traction to straddle the crown in the road between the lanes, but I came close to being yet another dumb yank in a stupidly overpowered yank musclecar blocking traffic.
