1st sortie: F4U1-D
Vulched
2nd sortie: F4U1-D
Made it up and was shot down by HAND
3rd, 4th 5th and 6th sorties: F4U1-D
Same result as 2nd sortie.

My first was about 2-3 years ago. I saw the ad and thought I'd give it a try. I thought I was 1337 b/c I had just beaten Ace Combat 4. I was wrong. I upped a p51 from a field a couple times got mad because I couldnt get over a mountain. Tried about 10 times. Gave up. Couple years later, after watching an episode of Dogfights, and saw another commercial for it. Gave it another try. Free trial was used up so I flew in H2H. Been playing ever since.

I had flying experiance with fighter ace on offline so i knew how to fly.

Got sick of it.

saw AHII ad on the military channel.

saw the 15$ and stopped.

saw AHII commercial again few months later

having forgot i had been there before went again.

saw 2 week free trial.

hooked.

I don't remember the first in AW, think it mioght have been a pony against my dad in a H2H set-up we had, but first in AH ya. It was the last few months of AW, and my good friend TRIX talked me into coming over and trying out the game on my free 2 weeks. We upped F4u-1D's and on climb out I tried to form up on his wing. TRIX was a firm believer of getting home alive, and I can still hear him screaming at me on the radio "NOT TOO CLOSE !!!! THEY HAVE COLLISIONS ON IN HERE !!!!". LOL!!! the rest of the flight was uneventfull, but its a great memory! :D

Hell yes. AH1. Bf-109-G6. Chased an A20 and shot it down, not understanding why it took so many 30mm rounds :D

Of course I only hit him with the 13mm's but what did I know. But I DID land the kill, drenched in sweat too.

forgot to add my first sortie..........i hate that "cant delete after 120mins thing" would save me from lots of embarissment

My first sortie was in a spit9 and i landed 2 kills,  i crashed on the runway since i was new but hey, at least it was a successful landing  :aok

P51-D no kills, shot down by B-24 tail gunner.
1rst kill was 2 B-24 on a bomb run with a Spit 8. Wouldn't have happened but the 24 pilot in middle of dropping eggs.

Don't remember exactly because it was so long ago.  It was in AHI and I was DamnYank then and it was a squad mission with the 31st.  I'll assume because I was flying along with Fish323 I must have been in a spit IX.  I most likely died and undoubtedly didn't get any kills on that first one.
I did a bit of practicing in the DA with the squad before entering the MA so I may have actually landed my first mission with 0 kills.
