The thing about having fleshed out country sets is that the reason you want them fleshed out is for scenario use (if I understand correctly... at least that's why I would like to see them fleshed out). The VVS especially, as with a proper Soviet set we could run more Eastern Front stuff, which would be the most appealing to most here, I think, (to me at least :D), just because of the kind of combat that took place in that theater (down and dirty tactical warfare). Thus, having a Soviet bomber is great, but having one that has no real place in scenario use (like the Pe8) is kind of pointless. The Pe 2 or Tu 2 would fit better for these reasons. Just like the He-111, Do-217 and Ju-188 would be better for the German set than the He-177. These countries simply didn't use strategic bombers.

Well...as long as we got "some" Russian bomber. I'd rather have the TU-2 cause it fits my style, is more versatile, faster, and would be used more. Remember you could pile all kinds of bombs onto a TU-2 as well, about 6,000lbs if I remember right, so its not like its a light bomber. It has more then enough to sink a CV and its cruiser and the speed to get away. It also has Mossie like agility, good guns, and would make a fine attacker/raider.

I'm for the Pe-8.  The russians need bombers and I'm getting tired of the same 3 heavies.
