the 88's just dont have the punch that the rest of the bombers have.
plus, they are quitre easy to shoot down

Always wondered with bombers with such mixed armament, must have been a PITA for logistics and armourers.

Get better use out of the Pe-2 or Tu-2 IMHO.

I left out the info that the Pe-8 could carry one 11,000lb bomb because HTC has already stated no eggs bigger than 4k

The Pe-8 would be welcome, and along with the Piaggio P.108, and either the He177 or Ju 188, all major combatants that had one, would have a heavy.

True, it would be "nice" to have - but when you get down to it - straight numbers - how many pilots out there fly ATTACK type missions in all the arena's vs. those that fly BOMBER (useing the bombsight) missions?
