I went as Adolf Hitler for halloween. Yes Hitler is a bad bad man [whips hitler!!] but I did it just to prove a point that in America, I can dress up like anyone and have a good time. I went to a party and about 80% of everyone loved it and even won best costum. I don't see whats so bad about dressing up as a Nazi or even a bunny. Heck if people take it affensive then I just slap them back and say hey your devil costum affends me b/c the devil wants my soul and live in hell forever!!
It used to be not that big a deal.
Most people recognised the difference between doing a parody as a gag and glorifying Nazi ism.
Example Arte Johnson From Rowan and Martains Laugh In
Even Jews did it
Hell, Brooks even came out with a
Hitler Rap Video Everyone saw the goof for what it was. A goof.
But that was before everyone decided it was ok to start whining about everything.
I am convinced people will actually look for reasons to "be offended" in our politically correct word. because deep down. Many people desire to be wetnursed and pandered to.
Now we are damned near fearful over doing anything because there might be a chance of "offending" someone.
Which as Arte Johnson would say is
"Verry interesting...But STUPID"
