Buddy was the funky drummer for Hendrix's Band of Gypsys.  They only produced one of the most influential live albums ever, "Live At The Fillmore East".  He took lead vocals on 'Them Changes', a funky rocking song.  If you've never head 'Machine Gun' live, you're missing something bruddah.

And Hendrix cried into his hands as he and Eddie Krammer mixed Them Changes because of Buddy's scat singing.

Significant measures of his scat singing ended up on the floor.

I always liked Billy Cox though.

Being from Omaha, I always wanted to see him play. He was here a few years ago, but I didn't attend the concert.

My dad grew up across the street from Buddy.
