Almost all the basic concepts' of modern aeronautics-swept back wings, swept forward, front canards, Variable geometry wings, T-tails, V-tails, Flying wings, etc. were there.
Although it can be strongly argued, that Jack Northrop equalled, if not surpassed, the Germans' in the flying wing department.
