well ill put it this way, to me the ki-84v.s p38 mission was easy for me but i got destroyed the other way around
and the d3a vs p40 mission was a challenge as the d3a but dang near imposible for me in the p40.

i found a very easy way to gain the enemeys six at the first merge though.

the two enemey planes will not seperaate till after the first merge. and they pertty much always do a split-s
if you go off to the right about 1000 yards from your wingman premerge and as they get about 3-2k out start a gentle nose high left turn which turns into a splits onto their 6 as they merge with your wingman. this usualy splits them up as one goes defensive with you on him but sometimes they will stay together as you kill one of em and the other gets your wingman. it tends to split them up easily.

if someone would make them i would like to fly a few of me 1vs 2 with me in a great turner (nik huri spit)against something like p51's 190's and your usual ma bnz crowd could be more intense than ever lol.

oh and the trick to get them to work is to restart ah (alt-F4 out and then restart ah)

any chance of film from any of you that say ya beat the AI so easily? i find it a challenge, although i don't claim to be that good to begin with.

<<S>>

so i'm guessing that no one is beating the AI quite as easily as they claim?

thanks...and PLEASE understand, i'm not trying to be a wise asss..wait...yes i am.. :rofl

seriously, i just want to see how you guys are doing it, as it seems that no matter what i do, these things turn inside me with relative ease. if i prevent that, they're always flying straight at me. if i manage to get their 6, they always seem to do some form of scissors, at seemingly impossible speeds.

so to mechanic, and you..and whoever else is doing this.....thanks!!

190 Dora vs. the AI P-51D. Took about a minute.

Cap, I'll have to admit that I filmed seven fights before I manage to outright kill the P-51 with the first snap-shot, though. :devil

It's a bug.

In my experience, when that happens all I can do is shut down AH, return to desktop, and start the program all over. Once that's done, everything resumes normal behavior and can get back to fighting.
