During a test run of the SAPP tactical armored unit, we ran into difficulties while trying to get through a wooden fence.
Yes I know it's a P39 but there were 38s on the roll, literally, with me. I felt that the 37mm of the P39Q needed to be tested in the anti-tank role. Thinking the fastest route between two points is a straight line, I rolled my 39 past a house, thinking I could easily chop through a little wooden fence with my propeller.

But no! I get my nose through and the 39 attempts to climb the fence

Naturally the fence doesn't give, the P39 does, losing both wings and main gear while starting on fire. Note SAPP P38 in support of my 39

Sadly the 39 was out of the fight without firing a shot, but undaunted the P38 continued to roll to the fight. So what are the fences really made of?
