to stop evolving our tech and finance, change back to evolving the body and mind and generaly try to catch back up to the whales and dolphins who are running off with the darwin cup.

moot.. good answer.  I agree but... reaction is also moral training and belief.

You react instantly if your beliefs are strong.  I am sure you get what I am saying.  The situation is always different and yes..we do "freeze".. it is normal.   But.. we also can develop a mental muscle memory that makes us react to what we think is the moral and.. only option.   If we betray that.. we will feel guilt for the rest of our lives.. all else being equal.. it has to be "all else being equal" since.. as you point out..  every situation is  different.

Just as some will see a fight happening before others and react.. others will react on moral grounds while others are trying to figure out what is happening and what it the best course of action... I am just saying that a good moral base will serve as well as street smarts serve in other situations.

but.. to the subject... "be fruitful and multiply" covers everything.
