Chaos over Paul cuts short gathering

Or someone is still trying to do something about our political situation..........

I would REALLY like to see him get on the ballot!

I would vote for him!

I would still be supporting Ron Paul if he hadn't made it clear he was just as big of a handsomehunk as the democrats are.

Sounds like the way it should be.

If the democrats were smart they would give lots of money to paul so that he could steal votes from the republicans.. he could get as high as 5 or six percent of the republican vote.   No democrats would vote for him of course.. it is like nader..  no republicans vote for that windbag but they love to see him in the race stealing votes from democrats.

The guys who vote for nader and paul will of course be all upset and depressed at not only how few followed their lead but..  at what a POS got elected because of it.

If either Obama or McCain gets elected you still end up with more of the same shirt that we've had for the last ~20 years.

The only way to get this country back to its roots is to vote for someone that values our Constitutional liberty and freedom above all else.

When do we stop voting against the greater of two weasels and start voting for someone that actually represents liberty?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Because the definition of liberty varies. What is liberty to a socialist is not liberty to a conservative or libertarian.

Ron Paul is absolutely right about the fall of the Soviet Union and they have learned from their mistakes. Yes I think we will fall for the same reasons. We are already one of the highest taxed, if not the highest taxed, western country. Apparently this lesson is falling short on those running for office. They want, cough cough, free healthcare, free college, free baby sitting, and good lord knows what else.

If Obama is elected they will get it too, and more, for a few years anyhow.

Because the definition of liberty varies. What is liberty to a socialist is not liberty to a conservative or libertarian.

The definition of American liberty can be found in our country's source documents. It's not that hard to see that socialism isn't in it, nor is conservatism.

Reminds me of this good analysis:

Quote
If you want government to intervene domestically, you’re a liberal.

If you want government to intervene overseas, you’re a conservative.

If you want government to intervene everywhere, you’re a moderate.

If you don’t want government to intervene anywhere, you’re an extremist.

I did vote for paul in the primaries.. it did no good whatsoever.  If he cant win in the primaries then what is the point of writing him because you are angry at the republicans?  It is like a democrat voting for nader because the democrats are not liberal enough..

It is now time to get serious and vote for the lesser of two evils and the one who will appoint the best judges.

It's more effective to pour some libertarian chlorine rationale into the buckets of swamp water ideals and values of people around you, than vote for the losing tadpole (so to speak!).  Until enough people know better than to vote for the lesser of either evils, the two evils will be the only effective non-protest votes.

Ron Paul always reminds me of the guy who wouldn't fight because of some BS moral compass and always ends up getting the sh*t beat out of him.  Not my idea of a President.......sorry.

Constitution is plugged in and working last time I checked.  Sorry if you guys think we are the USSR (pssst....  get a life)

It's way wrong on a lot of issues right now and neither Obama or McCain will change those one iota.
