The JUG, both variants........

You may see me in other birds at times, 190A8, 109G10, P38L, etc, if the mission planner dictates a specific plane/loadout, but when I have a choice, I select the Jug and take to the skies.
She can't climb for squat without WEP, she ain't the fastest, she won't outturn very many planes, she don't outtdive many planes.....but I feel at home when I hop in one, fully knowing that I am automatically the underdog when I am spotted.
I have, this past tour, taken the Niki and Hawg-C on occasion.......like I told another pilot, this was more out of being ticked off than anything else, and looking at my stats, you can see that I am a prime example of someone who cannot exploit the Niki's skills.
I know what I can and cannot do in the Jug. Slowly, surely, I have relearned her quirks and her strengths.
If HTC comes out with the P47M or N, you can be sure I will be in one every chance I get. A faster climbing version would be more than welcome.
I also fly(flew) the F6F for a while...have a 4:1 k/d ratio in it, not eye popping by anyone's standards, I know. But I rarely fly it these days......just don't "feel" right, like something is missing in it.
