EskimoJ: I don't think that will be possible for this program.

To those who wish to participate and add their names here, I will invite you into the squad during the week if I see you in the arenas. I'll be out of town for a couple days, but will answer questions here later in the week.

Would be glad to join Rolex, Adonai is my user name.
I spent many hours in TA , I honestly didnt feel any of it would help newer players out as they need hands on training in MA to learn.

This idea Rolex would down near be perfect idea to help recruits learn aside veterans!

Im available most hours of the afternoon in Eastern Standard Time, usually in TA from 3-4pm and MA after that.

Gawd, could I use a little more training.  I'm competent, but am always looking to get better.  As far as training in the MA though...

How do you plan to keep the ho-tards/ram-tards/horde-tards at arm's length?  Although I'm sure you have a plan, I'm not sure how much learning we can get done if we're killed every 5 minutes.  Granted, the idea is to NOT get killed all the time :D.

As was brought up earlier, how will this affect our current squad status and MA scores?  (Not that I care much about scores)

Since you're planning for Tuesdays, should we assume you will be in EW or MW?  How long are the sessions? Starting at 22:00 EDT is no problem, unless you're planning on two-hour sessions or something.

Regardless of the little details, this is a great idea and I applaud you for the effort. Because of some time contraints, I won't be able to formally request to join but am willing to show up and not interfere, unless you need some cannon fodder :lol.

You teach the pilots how to look for a ho, and how to learn to avoid it using ACM. I Think as far as squads go, Im not in a squad so it wont effect my squad score, but if your so interested in your squads score, probably not the best to go into a training squad and get killed few times, might ruin your "rank" if you care about it. I think it will be done in the Main Arena, Late War which is probably a better idea seeing how 80% that join will be in LW rather the 20% in EW and MW. However im sure this is a guess.

I'd like to join.  My only problem is July 22nd I have a softball game at a still-to-be-determined time.  I have a game on June 17th too but its at 6pm so I should be good to go.

In-game ID is "Boildown".

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

From Rolex's post this will be a seperate squad you get invited to. So if in a squad now you will need to excit that one and need to be reinvited when the training is over. I assume thats how it will be done but maybe its different.
I have a couple squaddies on the list now and they will definately be given TDA's to this squad without a problem.

Question for Rolex, I assume these training Ops will be able to be filmed by the students and disseminated to their squads and others upon completion, correct?
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

I hope not, I'm a CO/XO of the VF-31 Tomcatters.  If I went the squad would be disbanded.

Fuzeman is correct about my intention on squad membership and about films. I did think having a squad makes all of this easier for communication. I willing to hear both sides of the issue.

Some people will miss some Tuesday sessions. That's to be expected and why as a squad, the information can be given out at other times. As a squad, I and other trainers will be helping not just on Tuesdays, but any time we are on line.

I off for 2 days, but will be back on Thursday to answer more questions.
