Rolex,

An Idea I got, I would like to stay with the training corps squad for an entire "tour" So I could be any use to help players in day time,
regardless if its tuesday night. If its possible, I would like to stay even as the squad changes countries and tours, perhaps if you can see me fit to be a helper for whatever you seem fit. <S>

I would be glad to help out as a trainer. But I am only qualified to teach ACM. I know lots about the other stuff but not enough to be a lead trainer for that kind of training. I could be an assistant though in these cases.

I'm not sure creating a seperate squad is the way to go but I guess for those not in a squad it's no problem. For me getting reinvited every time I leave would  not work out so good.

If I am a trainer I would just start a mission to get everyone together and up from the same field. Say if the mission goal is: "fighter sweep to learn knife fighting" then I would lead the group to a juicy furball or other area with cons that is suitable. The group would take turns engaging cons as we find them with the rest of the group protecting the fight. Perhaps we then wind up in a small furball or not depending. I rotate letting everyone ride with me once. Once we get some kills we RTB. The others who were shot down can either wait for the next mission or up again on there own.

I would time the missions for say 15 or 20 min max. So we get 3 or 4 into an hour.

Of course we could also alternate lone wolf 1 vs 1 or 2 type training and wingman type training.

Perhaps if we have differnt trainers on at the same time there could be several type of missions going and the students can join the mission that offers the kind of training they want. Or we could have missions with several trainers and group into wingman pairs or seperate flights.

I think a squad forum would be useful so we can post some films from these missions and de brief on our mistakes and successes.

I play almost every night for several or more hours. So I have no problem being around.

If anyone is interested in what kind of training I might offer check out my "Agent360 training films" thread. If you want to learn this type of flying then you would be interested in perhaps joining a mission I "might" be leading.

Anyway I am offering to help here. Just let me know.

If any slots are still open, I'd love to do this. SIgn me up!

I've been playing since January but have yet to seek a trainer. If there's room, I'm in. My in-game name is WedgeJRV.

I hope not, I'm a CO/XO of the VF-31 Tomcatters.  If I went the squad would be disbanded.

Same issue, I'm technically "CO" of a 71 Squad wing. I cant resign without disbanding the wing. I'll certainly "check in" and see if I can assist in anyway. Other then using squad vox vs a number I cant see any real issue. If you actually get a full boat then you may want a few channels anyway...

A question Rolex --

Is this intended to be an orientation and skill development course, primarily intended for less experienced players? Or, is it going to also help guys work on MA style combat skill development, even if they've played the game for a while?

I stink, therefore I am.......in dire need of AH training! :)  The start time is good and if the sessions are an hour long, I can do it and want to sign up.  If they're longer than an hour, then it probably wouldn't work for me (I need the beauty sleep for my pesky job).  In-game ID: Kingbird.

So, how do we know if we're in? Do we have a roster?
