Personally I do think his rights were violated..

His right was violated imo. However, the Secret Service can't wait for the courts to protect the president or candidates. So long as they haven't killed or injured anyone, and after he is confirmed a non threat and allowed to proceed, no harm done. To the contrary, far more will see his "art" than would have otherwise.

It is a federal mandate that the Secret Service conduct interviews of anyone who makes a statement like that and it's brought to their attention. His rights were not violated in any way. He was not arrested, nor charged with anything. He was brought in for an interview to detiremin what he was doing with regards to his signs that talk about assasinating two key political figures running for president and under Secret Service protection.

No different than the pilot who was detained and questioned when he flew over Ronald Reagans home in California.

This guy had to know that what he was doing was going to draw attention from the Secret Service and the NYPD. Now that it has he's crying about his rights being violated. He's going to be real pissed when he finds out his phones all have wire taps on them now and will continue to have them for a long time to come and that there is a signed warrant to do so from a federal judge.

Some people will NEVER learn. If your going to kick a tiger in the ass, you better have a plan to deal with the teeth first.

by his name he either cuban, puerto rican or dominican.  IIRC a puerto rican group attempted to assasinate president truman.  boston is also known as the capital of revolution, unrest and historically is a town full of reactionaries.  as we who post on this BBS clearly understand sticks and stones will break my bones but typed names or ideas will get you into trouble with the man.  someone should send mr arboleya an invitation to post on this BBS and perhaps he can replace our exiting chairboy.
