Trapped and let this female cat loose into the woods 6 miles from my house.
6 days later the same damm cat is in my trap again.
Just took it out 12 miles from the house and let it go.
In 12 days I'll be loadin the shotgun.
Cats are Evil.

Just fill a garbage can with water, drop the trap with cat in it, problem solved (a can full of water is cheaper than a shotgun shell ;))

I'd say next time just give it to the animal shelter/humane society that way it's got a chance. Plus if one of your cats is male (outside) then maybe that's the one keeps knocking her up? Cats are pretty territorial so there has to be a reason she keeps coming back.

At least if you turn it in to the shelter/humane society you can say you did the best you could. Hey ya drove it 6 miles what's it going to take to drop it off to a shelter?

A feral cat doesn't stand a chance at an animal shelter.  It'll die almost as quickly as if it had been shot by Mac's gun.

Amen....

At least I'm giving her a running chance in the woods.

wrongwayric picture this in an animal shelter:

8 Year old Daughter: "Daddy can we take that Orange kitty it looks cute to me."
Daddy:  "Let me see Honey... Sooo how much for the Orange...how do you pronounce that Feerul cat? Hmm sounds alot like Librul... gotta be nice"
Attendant: "Sir you don't want that cat, it's not right in the head...please pick another."
Daughter: "Pleez daddy, Pleeeez?"
Daddy: "We want THIS kitty!!!"
Daughter: "I wanna hold it...."

Attendant unlocks the cage and the next scenes are to graphic to explain.....

SWAT, Ambulances and Local News Teams arrives....the cat escapes.
It's heading towards your neighborhood!!!

One shotgun shell is worth this tragic expirience...

Do you have a problem with cats?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Well he never said it was a feral cat so i'm just assumeing from his original content it's just a stray roaming around. If he can pet it, hold it ect... it's usually not feral. Also a lot of cats in the U.S. that are thought to be feral are really just scared of humans because they've been abused. I've had 3 cats i've taken in as strays that were wild as heck at first, but once they realized i wouldn't hurt them they were pretty cool and laid back. I actually had more trouble with the 2 dogs i took in that were strays than the cats.

My cat "Ol Bill" was properly named after Bill the Cat. He's a 9 year old Tom.  Has one eye, one ear and 3 legs. He's an outside cat now. A fighter and a lover.
I took him once to the Vets to get him fixed and was laffed at... their remarks was "Dammm Dude just let us put him down."  Not funny.

Back to stray -vs- feral... when do you decide the status of an outside cat?
After the first box of Band-Aids or the second 911 call?

The second time I kicked her loose from the cage she swiped at me and looked back as if to say "I'll be seeing you again REAL soon." EVIL

:rofl Ok let me trap you in a cage, then take you for a ride in something you've never been in before, then dump you out in a strange setting, see if you don't act a little po'd at me also. My cats hated their cat cages i used to take them to the vet in and would bite, kick, claw, and meow up bloody murder when i put them in there. Plain and simple cats and cages don't go well together.

Nothing does well in cages I agree. Yet you agree it's a form of transportation.
And if the EVIL cat returns I will transport it to Kitty Heaven by means of a Mossberg.

Txmom, what you don't understand is that Mac's avatar is not a cartoon. It's a portrait....of Mac.
