I'm more disappointed by the fact that now that TT is over, they had put the same (big) map in LWBlue that is already up in LWOrange...

So instead we should not come up with some ideas to change it?

OK ... please ... gives us your fair and equitable way to balance the arenas.

It will be some variation of "just do away with caps", or "let me fly where I want and make someone else balance the arenas".

The idea was for all of us to do this as a community had you read the through some you'd have seen this was to not hopefully turn into a flame fest which it is known for.

The only way to guarantee balanced arenas, with room for people to log in where they wish, is to take away the choice of where to fly, and for what side. If you do that, the whining will be deafening.

Caps not really an issue for me, but I do ask the question of why the 2 arenas which the majority of people venture too get down to 100 and the others do seem to stay at a constant level.

HTC should set a cap minimum of 250 if not higher. Logging on to (as you said) 1 arena with 20/100 andanother arena of 140/100 and being forced into the almost empty one is just stupid.

I don't get why you even typed that, you know it's stupid.

That would be because only the Late War Arenas have the floating caps. The others are fixed caps.

So then what happens to the 251st through 263rd players? You still wind up with one full arena, and one nearly empty arena, with those guys coming in here and posting the exact same things you're posting now.

the way it is now is fine by me.

You have to appreciate that the time frame of seeing one arena well over say 200/100 and having 20/150 in the other is probably now down to about 30 minutes.  If your that impatient to do something else for half an hour why should HTC keep trying different things.  this is usually around 18:00-19:00 GMT when the cap shifts from   /400 back to dynamic.

the cap now bounces around alot more too.  soon as you get 100 in each it jumps up to 200 and 250 respectively.

just remember why they did it,  having one arena had its pros and cons aswell.

I have "read the through some" ... and I would have thought that you would have been the first to come forth with your solution ... so lets hear it.

That does come off wierd sounding "read the through some". Meant to say "read through some"

Wow 6000+ posts. You must be one of the guys who thinks anyone who posts here must have your little seal of approval or something huh?  :O Waiting for others to show up and say things like "waiting for xxxxxx to get here and make his post" and things like that. Typical.

My idea was to open the orange and blue up to 350 each. Keep them like this at least until the beginning of peak time. Just try it out for a week at least. Doesn't seem like there could be any harm in trying it no?Bla bla bla. I kind of like the idea of both blue and orange being mirrors of each other as far as the maps go. Be it a large or small map the fight right now is right in the center on the blue arena. Just gets really boring looking for a fight in the blue with 13 people and half are playing ground war. Are you still reading this?  If this idea is not good enough than please let's see if there's something we can maybe come up with. This wasn't meant to be a whine post. If saying something isn't right and here's the reasons why makes you feel like it's a whine please don't even bother posting back here. You are far too serious like a karaoke singer in a costume if that's the case. Would simply like to see the arenas open more like the others. Are you going to read through the whole post or make assumptions? Would not like to just post  :cry why can't i get into that arena? Looking for a good reason to bring to HTC that might make things a bit better. Love the game, not too many things bug me about it except simply getting to where the good fight is going to be. Did you make it through the whole thing?   :salute

Great idea James.  HTC already does this.  Off Peak both arenas are set to 400.

I've never seen them at those numbers even at 9am est during the week. if thats the case why is it always such a pain in the rump to get into the arenas? How about we try to leave them at a higher number longer. Usually the numbers change and start  to even out around 250-300. Why not make the orange arena hold about 50 more people to make up for the 13-25 others that get cast into the blue arena for say 2 more hours or so? That way when peak really hits it's not a trickle into the blue arena but alot of people at a time for a real fight? Any one have any ideas as well or just need to walk away from this one?
