As usual we were up looking for the biggest dar bar tonite. Typically if you showed any resistance the horde moved.
On this occasion I got up early when another large dar bar showed up. As I headed out with Stogey trailing me out, we saw the mob.
At that point it was about a 2 vs 30, but what the heck, planes are free so in we go twisting and turning in the mass. Stogey starts laughing and comments that all you have to do is pull the trigger and you hit something.
They are not happy with us and the fight goes on for a bit, twisting and turning on the deck trying to avoid the horde. Slowly they are knocking pieces off and finally an engine and then the elevators. I'm so low and slow at this point that I hit the water and don't blow up, ending up with the ditch instead. 38G kill denied!
My comment on 200 was it was just sad that 25 190s couldn't kill 1 P38G. I'd like to apologize for that comment. After reviewing the film, I discovered it was only 23 190s. I'm sorry for exaggerating
