HT, ? about perk points for winning country

HT,

when a country wins a reset, does everyone of the countries pilots get 20 points per
fighter/attack/buff regaurdless if they are
online at the time of the reset, or do u have to be logged on at the reset to get the points?

i was online for most of the reset attempt on rooks, and knits won but i had to log before the reset happened and i didnt get any
win points.

think its kinda unfair for people who spend
thier time there getting to the reset but have to log off before its finish not to get points but someone who logs on 30 secs before
reset gets the bonus for just being online at right time. if it is a requirement to be on at the time of reset.

if u do get  win points even if ur offline, maybe had a MOTD pop up when u log on telling which side won resets (if any)
since ur last log in.

I believe you not only have to be logged on but active in a vehicle as well, not just sitting in the tower.
Which stops those who log on and walk away leaving comp connected for the points that they do no work for.
Personally i have only ever recieved reset perkies once thats 1x only.
Even though i regularly fly at least 4 hours a night it never seems to happen when i am online, oh yes and flying Rook of course has a lot to do with it

This is why i wont get involved in the strats in AH. No side wins. Resets are not counted. Until it is worth something why try to win the war. If your side wins you should get something for it. Its a flaw with the Ma concept in general.

I think I got 25 points in each category last night. Also, I don't think you have to be in a vehicle. I was in the tower or hangar when it happened, dont remember which. But I still got the points.

You have to be online and must have been in country for at least 12 hours to recieve the perk points for "winning" the reset.

Personally I think the rewards are too low, and IMFO there should be an award for the country that causes the reset irregardless of the # of bases held.  And it's not necessary to give the same number of points in each catagorey if it becomes a balance issue.

Country with the most bases gets x fighter, y buff, and z vehicle points (values based on balance needs).

If another country causes the reset they get 1/2x, 1/2y, and 1/2z for perk points.

I think this would prevent a situation like the rooks were in a couple of nights ago.  Down to 2 fields and when a hanger came up you either had 15second to get in the air before a waiting Lancaster flattened your hangers; or you had to try to launch amid 20+ vulchers looking to point yer arse.  It was reported that the bishops were hunting knight goons to prevent the knights causing a reset.  There were also some knights who straffed thier own troops after thier goon driver had dropped them, thus preventing the reset.

Obviosly the bishops wanted to try and buy time to they could get the perk points for the reset.  Having a reward for causing the reset, even if your country isn't the one with the most bases, would help in preventing this (and we'd see goon races to the last base   ).

Ain't no fun when ya gotta ride the tower for 45minutes hoping an industrious goon/M3 driver can sneak through.
