It's generally considered better taste to not take shots like that in duels and koths, you had plenty of position to saddle up by the look of those screens shots.

Yenny, if you are going to come on the board and make a thread like this to "clear your name" everytime someone makes a complaint/remark/whine against something you did on 200, then maybe you ought to just squelch cross-country text altogether. You destroyed the enemy plane. The enemy plane did not destroy you. Consider yourself to have the last laugh and just let it go.

I dont think he nor Bosco123 finds it serious, IIRC Bosco wanted to just see what it was from his point of view, no anger between them.

KOTH is already over, it's not as big of a deal as you guys are making it out to be.

I'm not worry about it, was just giving Bosco the angle I had on the shot. It was one of those moment in a fight where I think to myself should I fire or should I not. It was a really high angle deflection shots snap shot, we both were pulling G. I didn't really have a shot at Bosco til I was 150 yards from him as he flew pass my gun. You guys should watch the film, it's a really good fight. Base on my view, he had no gun solution on me.

Looks like a cheap shot IMHO.. The screen just before your hits on him, he is at an angle where he could have continued and taken a HO shot on you. Looks to me, like he turned to avoid the HO so it gave you a "slight" deflection shot, which IMO was a cheap one to take in the DA.

In the MA if you were out numbered then take the shot if you have too. However in the DA that's just a cheap shot.

Yea, your right. Maybe he had to break to avoid the HO, which created the deflection. I don't know, it was a quick split second decision on my part as his plane passing my guns.

The Ho shot has always been up for interpretation and debate. I say make it simple.

NOSE to NOSE is a HO

ANY Angled Deflection shot not a HO ....with the exception of Hard rudder use on a passing plane to get your guns on him but thats still kinda up for debate.

Any angles earned in a maneuver to put your guns on an enemies forward wing or cockpit should never be considered a HO IMHO .

Yenny wins, the rest of you opposer's are just complainers, soar loser types or agitators :lol

You need to watch the film not judge by that one pic. Those are hit sprites on Bosco's guns BTW

I posted it in the other, but here it is from my angle. It was a deflection, but only because I made it a defection, I pulled a little less to avoid the collision and thats what I get for it. :p

SALUTE BOSCO! :rock  and your right. You did make it a deflection shot.

Ho's also seem to be more about timing than intent. If you were a little quicker bringing you nose up or yenny faster getting his nose down there would have been no complaints.
