I've noticed that when compressed, in a dive that would otherwise be fatal, use of the auto-pilot re-establishes elevator authority rapidly, thus avoiding crashing.
It seems that the "AP" is immune to compression effects, but not G effects?
Would it be possible, and is it desireable to:
Make the AP input less than full deflection stick inputs, and keep the aircraft compressed if it was prior to the AP being engaged?
