Shorebattery with score?? A MUST!

Have you ever had an enemy CV right off shore, within 5 or 6k infront of the Shorebattery and for some reason, somebody manned it and went AFK? Happened 3 times last night in Orange. I tried to man the guns and I could not. I asked who was in the battery, got no response.

What I'm asking is, that they give you the Shore-battery option like you get for CV control. Doing that could make a great difference for this sort of stuff. Everybody has had this happen.

Ya i know when everyone gets paranoid that a spy is camping the SB and everyone freaks out
so i think this is a good idea just to keep some of the paranoia under control

Funny . . . I have been accused of being afk in the SB while pounding a CV.  Once by a squaddy, no less.

Honestly i would not doubt that, Just because someone doesn't see the CV being hit does not mean that the SB contoler is not trying

Yea, but it was wierd, because there was no fire towards the CV, I asked on range who was in the SB and nobody responded. So I guess they were "AFK"

But I would just like this feature just so this could be solved. It might not even be happening, could just be some noobie in it.

If you read my post again, you will see that's exactly what happened there too. I didn't fire. "They" got upset.

Idk, I like to man the SB but I dont want to be kicked by some guy who only has a high score. It just dosent give me a fair chance.

but wouldnt you feel better if a guy w/ a better score kicks you out because chances are that that person might hit a CV faster than you???
i know i would rather have a person better than me helping my country

Since the gentler approach didn't register -- horrible idea.  It is not only unfair to those trying to improve, but it is based on a problem that in all likelihood doesn't exist (or at the very least not to the degree where it justifies ruining someone else's fun).

The flaw in your logic is that this is a game. Its purpose is to have fun. If higher ranked individuals are constantly bumping you...where is the fun?? This idea isn't really well thought out.

Just because a player has a high score doesn't mean he is any better on the gun than anybody else. High score doesn't necessarily mean highly skilled. And I don't want some score potato kicking me out of anything.
