Well, we're all complaining about HO's, Picks, and Runners.  We might as well hit for the cycle :D

How the heck do you spell "vultching," anyway?  :huh

The correct spelling would be vulching, which you know is a bastardization of vulture.

I'm all for it, I feel it's one of the lost arts.  It's definitely one of those "only you can prevent" type of deals.  If you don't want to get vulched, don't up a base under attack.

"Vulching" good to know...  :aok

My favorite quote on the topic was from Lev...  Something along the lines of "Me vulching you = good.  You vulching me = bad."  I think we can all agree with that :D

Went in to vulch Cortez in a hurri - noticed he was the only person upping, decided against it - only option was to fly underneath him, and above the runway.....so did, went back up, got into a fight and promptly augered lmao.......

I find vulching is probably the single most irritating thing a player can do.  It takes comparatively little skill and, far more important, it operates to reduce the number of good fights you can find, rather than increase them.  Under most circumstances (I concede that it serves a valid purpose if there's a goon on the way to the base) it's the mark of the guy who just wants to amass a big score for his text buffer glory.  To say that you can always up from another base misses the point.  Having to up from a far-away base simply increases the amount of time it takes to get to a fight - again reducing the quantity of quality combat encounters.  You might have enjoyed a fun fight with the guy you shot on the runway, but we'll never know, will we?

I hate vulching.  Hate hate hate.  Loathe, detest, despise.
