Of course our military should help anywhere in the US when directed through proper channels. Maybe seeing these men and women saving their tulips will wash the hate from the eyes of some of these living in la la land. One can always hope.

the military has been doing that for them all of their lives and it hasn`t sunk in yet. I don`t hold much chance of it happening now.

I don't mind anti war protesters........ I grew up around them....

I object to them suggesting troops should shoot their leaders, or our troops are intentional killers of innocents with no regard for civilian casualties, or protesting at the funerals of our fallen soldiers, etc....

additionally........I don't think we started a civil war in iraq........I think we gave them the freedom to make to make changes...and some choose guns over diplomacy....so we stepped in again and set them straight.

Actually Marin County quit being ultra liberal when the median home price topped 750,000. There's still a few old nutjobs living on their houseboats in Sausalito, but other than that it's fairly mainstream, unless you believe people who vote Democrat are all leftist radicals.
