something new to be said
« on: July 12, 2008, 04:08:51 PM »
So the other day i was typing about an idea on another thread, trying to figure out a solution for a problem and someone ended up replying that non of my ideas wear new and it was all said before, and maybe i should try to come up with something new.So that got me thinking, and i started looking thru past posts and you know what.....he was right everything i had said, infact everything everyone seems to be saying has all been said before (or just about). So hear is my organelle thought. We can shut down the bored for general talk because its all been said,Yep its all been said even people who say to come up with new stuff it seems have repeated them selves time and time again. If new is the requirement for posting then just forget posting.Or dont tell me its been said before because it all has been said.thank you ,Im sure any responses to this have already been said also but good luck  :salute

The fact that a word like this snuck into a post of such English butchery lends a lot of weight to that theory that, given enough time, a monkey on a typewriter would eventually write Shakespeare.

C'mon, bud, you'll need a little thicker skin in here.  No insult meant, just jerkin' yer chain a bit. In fact your last post was nearly without defect, good bounce back.

And there's always spell check  :aok

The problem here is that organelle is a real word.  Therefore, spell checking the quote would not have prevented the error.  This is just further proof that no one should proof read their own work.

Of course I'm sure someone has already pointed this out on a previous thread...

I think it was an infinite number of monkeys.
Let us give "The Bard" his due.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.—Dwight Eisenhower, April 16, 1953

Goto Google and type in "French military victories", then hit "I'm feeling lucky".

The wind for their watcher, the wave for their shroud,
Where palm and pandanus shall whisper forever,
A requiem fitting for heroes
