I use a Saitek Cyborg. I like the joystick. It is cheap, feels good and doesnt break like my other one did in Air Warrior.

Thanks for all the advice. i will put it to good use. I used to play in Air Warrior III a LOT and i never had that problem. I used to play in beginner mode and not the advanced mode though. i dont mind the steep learning curve and have been welcomed in the MA with no problems.
I use the Pony B and Hog because in AWIII i was a BnZer. It is what i was good at but i am discovering that in AH im not that good at it because i have to watch my speed and my G's otherwise i blackout. I shall try the TnB planes and see if i can make those work. I have always had a hankering to try the F6F too bad its guns are so........Wimpy.
Again, Thanks for the advice. i WILL put it to good use.
In AwIII BnZ was much different than it is here, especially in the RR arenas. I was always in RRPac, and part of the Mafia, and the 38 and hog where my planes. In AW even when you were BnZing, you turned as hard as you could to get in the saddle on a guy, and due to it being "relaxed realism" you wouldn't black out. With the RR settings it limited the G's, so you never blacked out. Here, you get what you pull

The F6F doesn't have the speed the ponies do, thats why you won't have as much of a problem with black outs, though you can still pull into them. The F6F has the same guns as the 51D so they are not "whimpy", just be sure to set the confergence to the same range as when your planning to shoot.
I switched directly to AH after AW was killed, and it took me a good 6 months before I felt comfortable. You having taken a break, will most likely adjust better (you won't remember old habits so much

) Go easy on the stick, start your turns sooner, and remember, after you get shot down, they give you a new plane for free

Welcome to AH2 !!
