on a similar note I just wanted to toss out that you can squelch I believe it's channel 6 and you won't see any of the "kills landed" messages (only your own when/if you do). In case people were unaware.
Very cool! Thanks

And that way one can land their C-Hog with the 37 kills and not look like they just shot 37 helpless airplanes off a runway. :lol

They wouldn't exactly be helpless, just foolish for trying to take off from a capped field.  Other fields are always an option.

If you want to see some good vulching, watch the move The Battle of Britan sometime.

I think it a good idea, and why shouldn't you credit for action, you get with almost everything else, if the ship is manned you should get the kills if you down it. :aok

Doesn't take any skill to sink a ship, bomb a toolshed or milk run a base, so why should they get their name in lights?

Not sure you have thought this one all the way through.

To get you "name in lights" for killing a ship, you actually have to survive your bomb run and land successfully.  This would discourage the use of lancstukas, which is generally the "easy way" ships are sunk.  Instead it encourages the bombers to fly higher, which gives the ship the opportunity to turn out of the way.  This makes sinking them a little more challenging, increasing their survivability, which would ultimately prolong those ship-to-shore fights so many enjoy.

I don't see a downside to this.

How much skill does it take to horde? Or fly up and down runways shooting airplanes on the pavement? :lol

Nah.

We dont need more trash scrolling across the the txt bar.  There is too much as it is.  In fact, I say eliminate all player names from any system messages.  I dont care who I shoot down, nor should I know.  The real deal does not know who they shoot down so why should we.  I think it is a destraction.  Is AH2 more of a sim or a flash-bang game?

Don't really know, rarely a hord to fly in or against in MW.  Vulching?  It takes skill to come in at 400mph IAS inverted while strafing those poor skilless tool shedders as they take off to smite that evil building.

A Master Vulcher speaks.  :D They always cut in and try to make it look skillful dont they?

I think it takes "zero" skill. This isnt the BOB its a cartoon airplane game and the scoe 'hoes that consistantly land 10+ kills from vulching are a joke. Right up there with these Bish Lanc Stuka heros. :lol And to think they like to make fun of bomb droppers.

Have you ever seen me vulching?  Not that I don't but I only get about 4 vulch kills per camp.  Hardly significant out of the hundreds I kill.  I guess if I spent more time with the hoards or base grabbers it might be different.
