And then you ask what about kills as well...

And that may be the bone of contention.  How about twice?

Ships really are a vital part of the game, and sinking a cv should be recognized.  Grab an escort while you're at it, sink 2.

on a similar note I just wanted to toss out that you can squelch I believe it's channel 6 and you won't see any of the "kills landed" messages (only your own when/if you do). In case people were unaware.

I think it a good idea, and why shouldn't you credit for action, you get with almost everything else, if the ship is manned you should get the kills if you down it.
