Ken Rockwell is quite a fan boy though, I read his reviews with a flavor of salt, even though I'm a Nikon user. You'll probably get more all around reviews and opinions from elsewhere. Google should be helpful.

I have D50. I suppose D60 is to replace it. D50 is nice, although I would of course want even better.. who wouldn't

I have just a few things I'd like that the D50 doesn't provide.

1. A backlit LCD screen on the top, like the D70, D80, etc.
3. Expanded bracketing function beyond simply one under and one over.
3. More focusing zones.
4. DoF preview.
5. Remote/Multiple Flash Control

All of these things can be worked around so given the choice between upgrading the camera body or buying new lenses... I have to go with lenses. Better/different glass is far more bang for the buck.

I bought the D60 & I LOVE it.  I am going to Germany this August and I will need a lens to capture the Alps, what would your suggestions be on a lense best suited for my travels?

i have d300 and love it!!! My friend has the d60 and i think its just as good. Actually easier to use than mine and the pics are just as good.

Purchased the D80 last December.  Absolutely love it!  By comparison, the D80 had a few more features that I wanted.  The D200 is very good if you have the money to spend.

Thank you ramzey!  I bought the AF-S DX VR Zoom 18-200mm f 35-56g lens from Ritz Camera today.  I think that I could leave the 18-55mm f at home when I go on my trip.
