yes, these posts were a troll to enlighten those who attack another A/C type that may threathen their rides.

Look, the F4U was porked in FM performance in V1.03.  Laz, F4UDOA,and even Wells showed FACTS AND DATA that the F4U FM was porked. Myself and others showed proof (film)that the guns were OVERMODELED in V1.03. So, the result were modifcations by HTC to the FM and the guns. Now the FM is closer to what the numbers were historically, the guns were toned down...but yet we still have folks complaining about this plane with no facts or data like the afore mentioned provided in v1.03.

So, to sum it up, put up or shut up. Laz, Wells, F4UDOA, several others analysed this A/C in V1.03, showed the data...and got it corrected. By saying "it doesn't seem right, it zoomed right up and killed me" or "I got hit with one ping and I died!" or any other hearsay is as valid a a Dade county vote!  Show proof.  That gets results.

Is it possible that the "1/2 wing" is merely a generic graphic representation of some unknown amount of wing damage?

In other words, while you see "1/2 a wing" the damage can be much less than that?

This has been discussed before. We really don't know the relationship between actual damage to the aircraft and what the graphics show.

 Good question,I don`t know how the damage model interacts with whats displayed-I DO know that on 2 of the few times I flew the dweebC I had a 1/2 wing and still managed to fly w/o much problem and got kills.

 Try that in any other plane,you might land it but I doubt you will have the speed and maneuverabilty to escape being killed much less making kills.

 If a plane loses 1/2 a wing it should be dead.

I think Toad is right. Three graphics; whole, 1/2 and gone. The degrees of actual damage, however, seem alot more... ah.... variable. This applies to fuel/oil leaks as well.

Alotta the AC in Aces can fly missing (at least graphically) 1/2 a wing, including the DHOG and the n1k, yet i don't see crying about that.
Seems like witchhunt to me..

ok torq what part of a ho from hispanos killing a main battle tank do you not understand ?

 the hispanos kill at 900 yards easily . and even the hispanos on other planes dont kill a tank as fast as a hog cs
hit for hit . you would know this if you could survive outside the dweeb mobile you pump your inflated ego with. the fact that

 a hog c will kill a main battle tank from the front with one good burst. that is all you need there is plenty more but that is enough.

Anyone have an air pump I'm deflating. Towd show me the film of this because I have never been able to kill a Panzer from the front on 1 or 2 or even 4 passes.

A note on the p-51,
have you ever noticed that in every thread that someone starts of whineing about the Stang within just a few posts the discussion ALWAYS turns tword the whoopee chog's Hispanos so its kinda obviuos what is "porked"

 The reason the subject is always changed from the runstang.

 A plane famous for running away from a fight is an imbarrassment to those who fly it. And for those who know those who fly it.

 BTW torque had the same multi kill sortie,s, in the chog,in ver 1.03.

 And FWIW I had the same average number of kills, in the NIK in ver. 1.03
