“Enough is enough – we need to get tough on knives in this country and our judges should be handing out tough sentences, not brandishing their own.”

Even in proper context it's still insanely stupid.

I only partially quoted it because the judge's behavior was so silly that I thought it might derail the thread.   :aok

Well as I stated in the San Fran thread my knives have a tendency to get up and start stabbing things on their own. I mean come on people get real items like guns and knives have minds of their own and they are nothing but a nuisance to society. They should be melted down before they take over the world.

Lyn Costello, the co-founder of the Mothers Against Murder and Aggression campaign group, said: “He should lose his job. One teenager a week is being murdered on the streets of Britain and here he is brandishing a knife.

Mama?

I think maybe they need to start getting rid of mothers LOL

Why do Americans care what happens in Britain?  Not really any of your business now, is it?

How many of you would take offense if British folks started poking at you for your idiotic litigious manner in handling anything from a hot cup of coffee to a drug related miscarriage?

Yes, I am an American.  However, I grow weary of people in our country poking at other countries all the time.  We have enough issues here to last several lifetimes.  What is the point of poking our noses where they do not belong?

Ahh, so that is how the rationalization works.  Is that a common thing?  Does it span the entire U.S.?

Are we so insecure we have to demean others to make ourselves feel good?  I find that to be sad, but not unexpected.

I really don't care what Europe thinks or does as long as they keep their nose out of our Constitution.  I lived in some parts of Europe in my youth and have no desire to return.  There are too many people in this world who want a One World Government and I despise those people with every fiber of my being.

P.S.  The fact that one of our idiotic presidential candidates is campaigning over there should concern those who cherish the American Constitution.  Why would he be over there unless he intends to give Europe more control over our affairs if he gets elected.

Why do you care so much what happens in Britain?
