happy birthday SAS KID.   17 was fun for me.  First time I got me end away.  Blaggin it into pubs. First motorcycle I ever had.  UK gallon of gas was 76 new pence and take home pay on a 40hr week was 21 quid......enjoy cause it only gets better.  aye when I was a lad!

Oh I remember it. Those who were never 17yo in 1974 really missed something.

Seventeen is a great age. I just had a pair of underwear celebrate their 17th birthday. I keep them for sentimental reasons. They still have a "souvenir" stain from my trip to Cancun when in a drunken haze I forgot all about not drinking the water in town... :(

enjoy every minute of it bud. And no matter what, do not RUSH through those years.. all I remember is thinking "I cant wait till im old enough to do whatever I want!"  and then when I finally got there, all I can think about is "man what I wouldnt give to be back there".
