Umm, great big map here but lets not get carried away and actually use it, lets just keep a continuous week log furball going on between the two closest bases, sorry guys, but some of us prefer a more advanced concept, say like a goal to achieve, I guess I am just the oddball but I get bored in about 15 minutes with a furball that never ends nor achieves anything, hey its just me, I'm weird that way. Since its squad night I'll just check in with the boys for a bit and then log to rearrange my stamp collection and then maybe walk down to the pond for awhile and watch the pond scum grow, the thrill is about the same as a two hour furball.

OldBull, possibly you have a suggested way that we could use this map this week?  We're always happy to hear new ideas, and this has always been one of the most popular maps and plane sets.

Hey, Oldbull,

To save you from going nuts staring at the pond, if could login early next wednesday - say around 22:00 GMT - I would very happy to join you chaps in a all GV assault through the finn forests...

That would be something different for a change...Imagine a couple of T34's escorting 5 M3's ploughing trough the pine trees at full throttle!

Cheers

Sadly, I have no new or novel suggestions, but I would put forth that, why not use it for what it was designed for? With strats on and a reasonable amount of troops for base capture and if the unthinkable actually happened... well maybe someone could just reset the map and we can do it over again, hey I know its crazy, but like I said earlier, I'm just weird that way.

Any chance some form of my ideas might get tried??  Would work on this map too. Just curious <S>

We've hardened all towns and made it possible only to capture VH's or any airfield without a town. Base capture is now just 35 troops.

Sorry, OldBull, but you can't reset the maps in AvA.  Any of them.  Doing so just porks the arena until a staff member is able to come in and reload the tables.

Bases are capturable, as Fork points out above.  There are plenty of them.  Just remember to PLEASE NOT take all of the other side's bases.
