Obama and the fainting women?
« on: August 02, 2008, 10:48:23 AM »
Anybody notice that once the press started picking up on a pattern of a fainting woman near the front row at Obamas appearances, and showed how he "handled it" the same way each time, that the episodes of fainting women all of a sudden stopped?  Coincidence?  I doubt it.

Seems similar to Hillary's staff planting prepared questions at her appearances I think.  Good campaign stunt until it gets discovered.

We really don't need a phony for President.

That will just be a 100 page (eventually locked) thread about how everyone except 2 or 3 people hate Obama.... I dont like him, but I dont like McCain either. Only difference is McCain worked to get where he is.

Ooh, we could have one big General Obama Discussion and one big General McCain Discussion, both stickies, and see which one gets bigger faster.  I'm all a twitter just thinking about it!  OK, maybe not.

Yeah, why pay any attention to the man who may well be the next president of the USA?       Sure, just vote for a candidate without any consideration to his character, behavior, campaign tactics.  That is just the perfect way to choose.  "Head in sand, pick at random" I guess.

So not obsessing over his every move and then overreacting to the extreme at every possible flaw = "head in the sand"?  If so, then yeah, I suppose my head is in the sand.  And I have a fair idea where yours is.  I hope you didn't eat taco bell last night.

THAT SEEMS ABOUT ALL WE'VE HAD FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW
Since I started noticing these things:  Carter seemed a genuine person.  Reagan seemed genuine to me as well.  A real person of emotional stature.  Bush Sr. seemed genuine although not anywhere near as commanding a figure as Reagan.  Clinton always came off as dense shiny plastic to me, I never trusted a thing he said.  Finally, Bush Jr comes off as, well......a simple twit.

Thats how Ive seen these guys since about 1976.

Obama just plain worries me, along the same lines as Clinton did.  A great talker...great at manipulation.  I think Obama "could" pull it off and be a decent President, but I really seriously doubt it.  Just too young in life to manage himself realistically under such incredibly demanding times.
