Gimme a break.
We've used torture before just like every other country. And we will use it again in one form or another.
Difference between now and the last 50-60 years is we used to have other countries do it for us.
And Having that POW experience might even at some point be a detriment inasmuch as that experience might cause him to hold back when what we really might need is to move forward at a critical time.
such as Bush Sr. did in The first Gulf war in ending the ground combat phase too early
Same as there was a reason why they tried to have as many soldiers with no combat experience involved in the D-Day landings so they wouldnt know enough to be afraid which might cause them to hunker down when they needed to charge forward.
I have all the respect for McCain in the world for his POW experience.
But I cant let that be a deciding factor in whom Im going ot vote for.
So far I like neither.
On the points that are Really important. such as their policies I dont find a whole lot to agree with either one.

But im not convinced either of them would make even an OK let alone good president.
