Clearly a reference to the number "33" on a popular brand of beer in a green bottle.  It is also the year that prohibition was repealed.  For that, we can all give thanks  <G>

BTW, the 33 on the bottle was to let people know they weren't buying old outdated stocks of beer when production started again.
