– Vi står vägskälet in till Gori. Jag ser 20 till 30 stridsfordon som rullar in i staden, säger Mattias Carlsson på onsdagsförmiddagen.

Translation :

We are standing at crossroads into Gori, I see 20 - 30 Tanks wich are rolling into the city, says Mattias Carlsson (Swedish reporter).

He reports that the Russian soldiers looks relaxed.

- They are sitting ontop of their tanks and looks relaxed. If they had been in combat mode they would not be sitting ontop of the tanks.

- Now 2-3 more tanks are rolling down the road and is encountiring civilian cars.

Swedish main newspaper. And its their own reporters that are reporting it, no second hand sources. Btw, the Russian troops have robbed a Norwegian Journalist

The article also says that BOTH sides are dening this. But the articles headlines reads "Aftonbladets" reporters have the first picture proof that the truce is broken.

Heres another Swedish newspaper reporting that 60 Russian tanks are otw from Gori to Tiblisi.

Georgian Villages in South Ossetia Burnt, Looted

In South Ossetia, Human Rights Watch researchers traveling on the evening of August 12 on the road from the town of Java to Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia, witnessed terrifying scenes of destruction in four villages that used to be populated exclusively by ethnic Georgians. According to the few remaining local residents, South Ossetian militias that were moving along the road looted the Georgian villages and set them on fire. Human Rights Watch saw numerous vehicles carrying South Ossetian militia members, as well as Russian military transports moving in the direction of Tskhinvali.

This was not the case several hours ago when we talked about it. The cnn article i linked to said that the information came from the georigan regime hq and not reporters.

I will however go this far. As i have said from day one of this conflict i am happy and thrilled that Russia kicked the georgian army out of SO as long as they did not go further. I may also have said that i want the georgian president to "go away" . I stand by that too. He lost the gamble at the expense of hundreds or maybe over a thousand civilian casualties by his gamble.
