when we protect our citizens - it's a no-no.

I'm confused...I thought these were Georgians with dual citizenship, not Russians with dual citizenship?

Wanna play? C'mon, invade us. See the tips of our bayonets. Feel them.

I think there's definitely some sort of language barrier here that exacerbates your use of that type of jingoistic xenophobic language.  First, its high time everyone of Slavic origin drops the 10 ton chip on their shoulder that fuels their nationalistic fervor.  Russia has a very rich history and tradition that obviates the need for any type of xenophobic impulses--let your past contributions to the world's society speak for themselves.  Just like every other major power in the world, Russia has much to be proud of that stands by itself, without the need of thugish militarism to make it credible.

This is not worth one ounce of U.S. blood being spilt on Russian soil, and I don't think even Putin himself thinks that's even remotely a possibility.  Anything and everything that occurs in this situation will bear out within the confines of Georgian territory and/or territorial waters, and international waters.

Your ignorance of Texas history is showing. Texas fought Mexico and won it's independence from Mexico on it's own. Only years later did it become a member of the United States. My ancestors were Texans when it was independent.

That would be correct. The Georgians with dual citizenship are ethnic Ossets. The only reason they are Russian citizens is because Russia handed out passports like they were candy.

It;s our own business, no one should "advise" Russia on a question of citizenship.
