A link to the CNN claim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksOCJsODaw8

This is a CNN clip, but it's been ripped off by Russia Today, redubbed with their own commentary. Priceless propaganda work.
A reference to Ossetian refugees: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/aug/12/georgia.russia

We KNEW their were refugees; There are over 3 times' as many Georgians' headed the other way. There wouldn't have been any but for oppurtunistic Russian land-grabbing aggression. They should have kept a lid on the Ossetian' artillery, if they didn't wish to actually invade, that is. I guess that by now, though, hiding their true intentions is getting rather redundant.

Easy to find these things on the net, guys, but you knew that. As for what's respectable, that's always dependent on your own opinion. It's just that maybe FOX or CNN might not have anything on it. Anywho, enjoy Life, and don't get too buried in the dogma. People are just people for the most part, it's the dogma that does us all in.

Hasta luego, Amigos.

It may not be the sea itself, Hangtime...

(Image removed from quote.)

I would believe that trying to get through Both the Dardenelles and the Bosporous would be hazardous and time consuming, to say the least. Any advance warning given to the Russian Black Sea fleet at all, and all they would really have to do is mine those straits'.

Holy moly... gotta be the most heavily traveled waterway in the world... more shipping goes through there than the canal. Besides...

Would you send one of these up there un-escorted? That would be madness!!!

I mean, nobody would be dumb enough to attack a hospital ship being escorted by the Ronald Reagan ...

LOL... think of the eyeballs popping on putin when he hears we're sending the REAGAN... LOL!

Oh, no reason. No reason at all.

Why would Russia care?

Georgia's air force, according to global security, has 3 SU 25's and 5 SU 25K's that's it for fighters, but they do have 35 helicopters, 9 cargo and 10 trainers.

The USSRR carries 85 aircraft.

Anyone in tactical or strategic planning for Russia who does not take notice is derelict in duty.

Russia Blinks

Russia 'begins Georgia handover', Russian troops are handing over control of the area around the town of Gori to Georgian forces, officials say.

Hopefully, this isn't another one of their roadkill excuses' to stall for time, before a renewed offensive.

...Just watch, they're digging in for the arrival of U.S. combat troops.

There's no real reason for them to stay. They can get the Hell out of georgia tonight.

As shallow as that water is, I'd hate to be a sub driver trying to sneak up on a U.S. Carrier battle group in those waters.

I know it's wakypedia, but it's all I can come up with at short notice.

These can be armed with a small nuke that will pretty much vaporise most of the TG without even having to actually hit anything.
