Great Britain third in medals ranking... where's Russia?

As of this moment, only US and china are ahead of us. I'm sure it will change but it's a great achievement.

Russia languishes in 9th place. It seems without the satellite states such as the Ukraine etc, Russia is not able to compete.

Dont forget the cycling.

Presently 7:24 am Pacific time, Russia has seven, eleven and twelve medals.

Give three points for gold, 2 S and 1 B, China leads with 144, USA 124
Russia is tied for third with the Aussies (55), GB just 2 points back.
